How to compare car dealers before visiting?

Before going physically to a dealership, I prefer to see how active they are online. On https://auto.ae/showrooms/all/ each showroom profile displays number of ads, reviews (like 5.0 rating in some cases), and followers. Some dealers have over 100 ads listed, while others only a few. It gives a rough idea of their inventory size. Do you usually check ad volume and ratings first, or do you rely more on personal recommendations?
